Important Announcement Regarding Seminars and Term Projects (Fall/Spring)

Our students enrolled in the Non-Thesis Master's Programs of our Institute must successfully complete “at least ten courses and a term project, provided that the total is not less than thirty credits and 60 ECTS” in order to graduate according to Article 17(2) of the Postgraduate Education, Teaching and Examination Regulation.

- Students who successfully complete their courses must submit the “Term Project Topic Determination Form (Appendix-1)” to the relevant department head by the end of their second semester at the latest.

- Students who complete their Term Project work must defend their work before a jury of three faculty members, including one advisor, proposed by the relevant department head and decided by the Institute Board, in an open session for the audience, and the term project is evaluated as successful or unsuccessful according to the relevant regulation “Article 17(3): The term project is defended by the student in an open session for the audience before a jury of three faculty members, including one advisor, proposed by the relevant department head and decided by the Institute Board, and the term project is evaluated as successful or unsuccessful.” They must defend their work before the designated jury by the end of their third semester at the latest. The results must be submitted to our Institute along with the “Term Project Evaluation Form (Appendix-2)” and a bound copy of the Term Project Assignment.

Our students enrolled in the Thesis Master's and Doctorate Programs of our Institute must submit a bound copy of their seminar work to our Institute according to the relevant regulation "Article 45(3): During the course phase, a thesis master's student must give one seminar, and a doctorate student must give two seminars. Seminars are nationally non-credit and are evaluated as successful or unsuccessful. In case of failure, the seminar is repeated. The successful seminar text is sent to the institute through the relevant department head at the end of the semester." .


The final submission date of Seminars (for Thesis Master's and Doctorate Programs) and Term Projects (Non-Thesis Master's) to the Institute is:

- End of Fall semester is January 24, 2024.

- End of Spring semester is June 14, 2024.
